After arriving in sunny Leeds and checking into our hotel, we headed straight to the beautiful Corn Exchange.
This is not only a stunning building but is full of delightful shops, with a cafe or two thrown in for good measure.
Our first appointment was to visit ‘The Little Pink Jewellery House’ which is not a vintage shop per say, but does hold some beautiful vintage inspired jewellery at very affordable prices.
As we first entered the store, I noticed how everything was displayed tastefully. Nothing was too cluttered, but it had a warm inviting feel to it. The Scarves, of which are absolutely stunning (and can be bought online) were displayed impeccably, making it very easy to see them all. I know how hard this is – I work in a boutique shops, and displaying scarves well, is a skill.
Little Pink Jewellery House started up three and a half years ago. They started hosting house parties, and selling at fairs. Debora said this really helped them get a feel for what the customer really wanted. Something I feel she is very in tune with. They later branched out to sell, not only jewellery, but clothing. They began with just one rail in the store, but have now branched out into another store front in the Corn Exchange. It is delightfully called ‘Little Pink Wardrobe’. They will be opening up a new shop in Harrowgate in September…
They stock Lilly J Clothing, which is adorable. As well as a local Leeds designer, Jenny Dixon. It is nice to see local businesses supporting local trade.
The very friendly and helpful shop assistant in The Little Pink Wardrobe gave us a few items to try on… It is nice to have the styling assistance, a personal touch of which you do not get in high street stores. It makes for a more fun shopping experience.
The prices are very good too. The Gorgeous Tulle skirt (Right) of which I am lusting over was just £32!
What I Wore: (from left to right)
Italian Strip Detail Dress £59.00 Sizes S-L available | Gold Loop Necklace £26.00 | Lily J Khaki Full Skirt £32.00 | Nude Hand Bag £48.00
Kelly offered very helpful styling advise and encouraged us to mix things we previously would not have put together. Take for instance this white lace maxi dress and sun hat – we loved the combination… It just worked!!!

The prices are just so reasonable!! If you see anything you like, it can be purchased in store, or drop an email if they are not online, mentioning my Blog. Debora and Kelly are more than happy to help.
I must say that visiting the Little Pink Jewellery House, and Little Pink Wardrobe gave us a brilliant first impression of Leeds. Their jewellery was reasonably priced, and of very good quality. As were the clothing and accessories. And the customer service is top notch.
Personally, my star buy would have to be the scarves. At only £11 – (yes £11!!!) they come in every colour of the rainbow, with beautiful prints, and are made to a very high standard. I struggled to pick out just one!
Thank you Debora (left) and Kelly (right) for such a warm welcome!
Have no fear, if you don’t live in Leeds or anywhere near, then there is still hope…
