Once again, my trusty LBD wiggle dress is being transformed by mixing it up! This time the sun was shining, and I wanted to add a little bit of neon Aztec charm. Basically I really just wanted an excuse to wear these amazing shoes!!! They are from Buffalo – if you have never heard of them – you should. They are beautifully made, 100% leather, and have a little something that you can’t find on the high street. I love the colour blocking and gold studs on the toe.
Of course – top off any Aztec or neon look with your favorite Aztec statement necklace! This one is from Zara.
I also need to mention that I have had a favorite lip colour for the summer. It is a bright orange/coral colour and I love it! The colour lasts and lasts, and does not dry your lips out either. Of course it doesn’t! Its Chanel Daaaling…
Now I know that it is no longer summer, but while the weather holds, I will wear it. Then I will safely store it until next year.
Now, if you want a super quick and easy updo, look no further! Just remember, this style is probably best suited for hair past shoulder length. So start by parting your hair down the centre of your head. (leave your fringe/bangs out if you like…) Braid each side of your hair. starting from just behind your ears, and braiding as far down as you can. When both sides are braided, cross over the top of your head and tuck the ends of your braids under the opposite braid (just shove them under and hide the ends…) and pin until it feels secure. Easy.
